I ventured out into the SXSWTF crowd today. Not for music, not for film, not for Hipster Watching. No, I went to metaphorically drool over the beauty of hand screen printed posters at Flatstock. I was surprised to find that over the years, whomever is in charge of the programming, has DRASTICALLY reduced the size of Flatstock. Disappointing? Yes. But, the overall quality of work was magnificent, and all of my usual favorites were there (such as Powerhouse, Dan Stiles, and The Bird Machine. I was also happy to find a new set of printers that I thought I’d share with everyone (and by everyone, I mean the handful of followers I have here…)
